He must be........or he wouldn't do that/be here.

I keep hearing this one: Went to the baths, had unsafe sex. The negative guys think, "damn, he's hot, doesn't look sick, no reason to worry." Poz guys think, "If he were not poz already, he wouldn't be in the baths with his butt in the air and the door wide open.

Ask. Tell.

This quiet misunderstanding is leading to lots of new infections. You can't tell by looking. You can't guess by risk taking or geography.

That is a truth. However I was at the baths and I used protection. I still got acute HIV syndrome 2 weeks later. I think that the only answer is to face reality. Avoid the baths if you are negative. They are filled with untreated positive breeders spreading the plague. Until the day that adult men stop acting like children and take responsibility for their own health we will continue to watch the plague spread through our community and to heterosexual society too. For goodness sake if you are going to fuck bare at least have the courtesy to get tested and treated if poz. It reduces transmission rate 96%!! Get a life lazy motherf*rs before you ruin more!

There's a very high chance that the person who carried the virus that infected you was unaware of his status, and recently infected, himself.

Bath houses remain a significant source of new infections. The men going there are probably an especially more "active" part of the population, and likely to be making assumptions about serostatus.
